ERNEST CLAYTON
Mr. Ernest Clayton is the father of six sons whom all graduated from the NYC Public School System. His six sons all hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree/MBA from some of the best Colleges/Universities. Mr. Clayton, holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Accounting. After 20 years in the field of accounting he became President of the, United Parents Associations of NYC, Inc. (UPA) UPA was established in 1921 and Mr. Clayton became its’ president in 1996. He served in Albany for 5 years on the, New York State Professional Standards and Practices Board for Teaching, representing NYC Parents. After 6 years at the helm as President of UPA Mr. Clayton took a position with the NYC Department of Education. He currently works in Harlem, Community School District 5, Office of the Superintendent as the, District Family Leadership Coordinator. Mr. Clayton conducts and facilitates professional development training sessions for school parent coordinators and parent leaders. He is a resident of Harlem, coached for the Harlem Little League, coach for the PAL, serves on the Board of, Genesis II Hamilton Heights Economic Development Corporation and has been involved in, Fathers Forward Inc. from beginning.
