LEVON SMITH

Levon Smith is a native of Harlem district 5 Abraham Lincoln houses. Growing up in the 60's and 70's in Harlem was very trying times but there was opportunities for youth such as community centers for academics, sports, counseling and structure programs to help youth transition into adults. Those were programs that would help children stay focused in dealing with life so that trying times would not be so difficult. Today those opportunities are not as prevalent now so being a product of Harlem my obligation to young men of color is to give them direction and guidance as a member of Father's Forward.
